sorry about the lack of upkeep..

Wednesday, August 1, 2007, 04:52 PM EST [General]

I'm sure you've noticed that yet again it's been pretty close to a month since I've updated my blog posts. I can tell you that I have a lot to add, but unfortunately, right now do to my recent move, I have to no internet connection and am forced to use the library computers. Not to worry, I've been saving a few of my up dated entries on my hard-drive, so as soon as I have internet connection, I will be sure to put all of my updated blogs up for you to read.
So sorry about the time laps, I'm sure after reading all the recent blogs you'll understand, and hopefully after this little mishap, I won't be having anymore problems.

    pt 3--fourth of july

Monday, July 9, 2007, 12:36 AM EST [General]

I had fun this year on the 4th.  It was my second one here in Florida, and it's good to know that since I've been here, my 4th's have been great (last year was when I met Juan-- who turned out to be a dickwad, but I didn't know then... he's mentioned in an earlier blog).  This year, I spent the day with Blaine.   We went to go eat lunch at Chili's, and I found a beer that I can actually drink (remember how much I hate beer?)-- Landshark.  After lunch... well I guess maybe it could be considered dinner because it was kinda late... we went shopping for some fireworks.  The place we went to was "buy one get one free", so we went a little crazy with the fireworks.  Then we went over to his friend's house and started lighting off fireworks.  It was a lot of fun, and these guys were all cool and laid back.  We were throwing firecrackers at each other and I even shot roman candles at someone (lol dangerous, but funny).
After all of the festivities of drinking and lighting fireworks, I was starving and we went to eat at steak and shake (ugh I hate that place almost as much as I hate Friday's).  I had a chicken salad in a taco shell and it was great (anything tastes great at 2am when you're starving and there's a very limited selection of food places open).
After that, we went back to Blaine's and celebrated in our own little way (if you know what I mean;)

    pt2--the real american public

Sunday, July 8, 2007, 11:50 PM EST [General]

On Monday, July 2, 2007, there was a sudden loud noise that caused the power to go out.  No one knew what was going on or what had happened.  It was pitch black, and yet it was only 3:00 in the afternoon.  There was a comotion and people running back and forth going crazy, some were even screaming about how it was the end of the world.
Everybody was escorted to safety and asked to leave until there was further news of what had happened and things were safe again.  People were shocked and confused, they didn't know what to think.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the back up generator at Wal-Mart blew and caught fire, causing the main generator to lose power.  IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD, THERE ARE OTHER WAL-MARTS IN THE AREA"
Oh the chaos of that day.  People were coming and going on rampages.  Heaven forbid that "THEIR" Wal-Mart be closed with no power.  Heaven forbid they have to get off their trashy a$$es and drive a little farther to the Wal-Mart just down the road.
People seriously acted like the end of the world was upon us.  Some people even cried when they found out Wal-Mart was closed and they wouldn't be able to waste their money in the store on that particular day.
"Good news everybody!  Wal-Mart has fixed the problem and whipped their employees into shape, the doors are now re-opened!"

    last week pt1--the beach

Sunday, July 8, 2007, 02:57 PM EST [General]

I'll start off my series of blogs with last Sunday (July 1).
My friend Lori called me up and asked if I wanted to go to the beach with her, her friend Rachel, and their friends Blaine and Matt.  Even though it looked like it was going to rain, I decided that I would go-- it was a dull day, and I could use a little fun.
The beach that they had me meet them at was somewhere I had never been, and I hadn't heard of it before so I had a little trouble finding it.  I called about a million times and no one was answering their phones, so I left a message that I was just going home because I didn't feel like wasting my gas when I didn't know where I was going.  Finally they ended up calling me back before I got too far, and they gave me directions.
When I got to the beach, it was pretty cloudy, but it wasn't really raining, just a little lightening here and there (bad idea to go in the ocean I know lol).  Anyways, I can't swim in the ocean, and right now it's high tide and the rip currents are pretty strong, so Blain offered to carry me on his back while we were in the ocean.  Just because I was on his back, didn't mean I wouldn't have a few wipe outs-- because I did.  There were a couple of times where I was leaving to get out of the ocean, and I was completely washed out and held under the water for a good 30seconds (or so it felt like).  I ended up with cuts and bruises all over my leg, but I still had fun.
After the beach, we went back to Matt and Blaine's appartment while Lori went home because she had to get ready for work.  Matt's parents wanted all of us to come over and eat dinner with them, so me and Rachel showered at the appartment.  The water pressure was horrible, it was really soft and I had all of this sand in my hair that wouldn't come out due to lack of water pressure.  So, I asked Matt, Blaine's roommate if he had a bucket so I could feel it up with water and pour it on my head to get all of the sand out of my hair.  Apparently, Matt thought that was the funniest thing he had ever heard, and to this day he won't let me live it down.
I finally got showered and all of the sand off my body, and we headed over to Matt's parents' house to eat some gumbo (sounds and looks disgusting, but is delicious).  I have never met his parents, but as soon as I walked through the door, they make me feel like I had known them forever, and there was no akwardness like there usually is when you meet someone new.
After we were done eating, Blaine and I went to go play pool, while Rachel and Matt went and got some coffee.  Me and Blaine started flirting a little and ended up going back to his place and one thing led to another-- and you can guess the rest;)

    it's been awhile--note to readers

Saturday, July 7, 2007, 01:45 PM EST [General]

It's been awhile since I've updated my blog, and a lot has happened since then, so much, that I'll write seperate blogs for each so that you don't get confused or look at an extremely long blog and go "Oh my God! I can't read all of that"
I've been pretty busy lately, so that's why it hasn't been updated so frequently, but don't worry, I'm on top of things now and I'll be adding a lot more blogs a lot more frequently (there's a lot going on right now, and I have a lot to write about).

PS-- everything in these blogs are all true in case you were wondering.  I tell the stories like they are, if I have fault, I mention it.
    That is all.
