It's been awhile (what's new, you might as well get used to it) since I've been on, but I'm finally moved into my house and have everything unpacked and set up the way I want. In the long time that I've been offline, I've also started school and been busy with that. I'm happy to say that so far, I'm doing pretty good, keeping up with work, and haven't cut any classes (of course this is only the second week, but I have to take it one day at a time). I also started my job at Wendy's (and as I predicted, it sucked a$$).
Now, the point of my title. Wendy's was never a permanent job and luckily for me, I only had to put up with it for three days. My dad met one of our new neighbors sometime last week, and mentioned how I was looking for a job. She told him that she works at this place called RGIS Inventory as the hiring person, and that they were conducting interviews.
The next day, that lady stopped by our house and left a card in our mailbox with information on how to fill out an application, and her number for me to call as soon as I was done. I called her, and she had me come in for an interview. She liked me, and ended up hiring me.
RGIS Inventory is a company that goes to other companies and helps with their inventory-- basically it's a lot of counting, which can sometimes be stressful and sucky, but on the bright side:
it pays more than Wendy's
it's flexible with my school schedule
I don't really have to deal with other people too much
I start my first inventory job on Thursday, and I'm kinda excited about it. Things were down for a little while, I didn't have a job, and when I finally got one, it was at a sucky place like Wendy's. All you got to do is do your best and keep your head up high. Bad stuff happens to everyone, but eventually if you are deserving, things will start to turn around and be better for you. Yes, it sucks that I had to move to Utah to go to school, but one of the positive things about that is that they actually have some pretty decent schools, and there's not really too much to do around here that interests me, so I have that extra time to focus on school and make sure that I'm doing good. In the long run, it will be the best thing for me.

hey girl, hows the new job???
